Introduction

If you need to put a chart in your feedback reports. This page will help you create the chart definition. There are multiple chart type exist and you need to map the column from report field. Thus a same type of charts but with participant specifies data on each participant’s feedback report We think this is powerful if your feedback reports have lot of charts.

Prerequisite

  1. You need chart type created from backend if it is not already available. (write us to www.probench.plan.io)
  2. A generated report needs to be linked to the feedback report, to which this chart is linked.

Add charts

  1. Title : Enter the title/name of the chart.
  2. Chart type : Select the chart type from the dropdown list. (If you do not find the table type, write us to www.probench.plan.io)
  3. Sort order : Provide numbering to sequence the charts list in feedback report page.
  4. Create : Click on create button to create chart.
  5. Cancel : Click on cancel button to cancel the creation of chart.

Chart edit settings

  1. Title : Enter the title/name of the chart.

  2. Chart type : Select the chart type from the dropdown list. (If you do not find the chart type, write us to www.probench.plan.io)

  3. Save As Chart Type : With Save as chart type you can create a new chart type with current configrations of chart into chart types (Only Availables of chartjs chart types).

  4. Sort order : Provide numbering to sequence the charts list in feedback report page.

  5. Update : Click on update button to save the changes.

  6. Delete : Click on delete button to delete the charts.

  7. Cancel : Click on cancel button to cancel the creation of chart.

  8. Chart image : Shows the created chart using survey data.

  9. URL : Shows the url to view chart. It helps the developer in case the charts are not displayed in preview.

  10. Use data from : Select the participants from the dropdown list.

  11. Preview : Click on preview button to see the chart/graph of selected participant. It is always recommended to preview charts once it is set.

  12. Access Chart Configrations(?) : This is slidedown menu for configration. Available only for chartjs Chart Types.

    Min : Min config is use to set minimum range of Y-Axis of chart.

    Max : Max config is use to set maximum range of Y-Axis of chart.

    Stacked : Stacked config is boolean which is set defualt to false, this help you chart grouped bar chart to stacked.

    Show DataLabel : Show DataLabel config is boolean which is set defualt to true, this help you show/hide datalabels on chart datapoints.

    Show Legend : Show Legend config is boolean which is set defualt to true, this help you show/hide Legends on chart.

    Legend Position : Show Legend config is dropdown which is set defualt to top, this help you Change position of Legends on chart.

    Show Grid : Show Grid config is boolean which is set defualt to true, this help you show/hide Grid on chart.

    Show YAxis Label : Show YAxis Label config is boolean which is set defualt to true, this help you show/hide YAxis Labels on chart.

    YAxis Formatter String : YAxis Formatter String config is use to set format for labels eg: ${label}% = 85%.

    Step Size : Step Size config is use to set Step Size of Y-Axis of chart.

    Pattern : Pattern config is dropdown which is set defualt to noen, this help you Change/Set Pattern on chart elements.

  1. ADD : Click on add icon to add chart rows.
  2. Legend : Specify the name or legend of the row.
  3. Sort : It decides the sequence of row that appears on this page.
  4. Delete Click on delete button to delete particular row of chart.
  5. Save : Click on save button to save particular chart row.
  6. Row and Columns field : Fill the name of the column from the report field. Color sets the color on charts. Label marks the column.
  7. Condition : Optional field to specify the extra condition.
  8. Save all rows : Click on this button to save all the rows and its chart definition.
